My client a leading financial services organisation is seeking an individual with at least 2 years experience of insurance companies ideally for within a Chartered Accountancy firm or insurance organisation.
The role will involve a large amount of ad hoc work. The individual will have a primary role of ensuring that accounting and regulatory developments affecting the insurance industry are assessed and communicated, both internally and externally as appropriate.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have an accounting qualification.
- Strong accounting knowledge both of insurance specific areas and UK GAAP.
- Knowledge of US GAAP or IAS would be an advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills are important
